Hale County Hospital opened its doors on November 16th, 1963 as an acute care 25-bed facility. Hale County Hospital has since grown into a 39-bed facility with a busy Physician's Clinic and Home Health Agency. In 2007 the hospital added a new $2 million patient care wing to better serve its patients.

Hale County Hospital is the only hospital in the county of 17,000 citizens. Services available include a full service lab and X-ray, including C.T. and Ultrasound. We are also an EXTENDED STAY SITE FOR SWING BED REHABILITATION for Physical, speech, and occupational therapy. We are a local staff caring for hometown people with love and compassion.

We are a National Health Service Corp approved site.
