Payment & Pricing Policies
As a National Health Service Corps Site, Hale County Hospital is committed to serving all patients. We offer discounted fees for those who qualify and do not deny services based on a person’s race, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, color, national origin, sex, disability, religion, or ability to pay.
We accept many insurance plans, including Medicaid, Medicare, the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, Humana, Aetna, TRICARE, AARP, and Physicians Mutual.

Price Transparency
Both of our clinics offer a Sliding Fee Scale program designed to provide free or discounted care for eligible individuals who have limited or no ability to pay for medical services.
In addition to receiving quality healthcare, patients may also meet with a staff member who can provide financial counseling and help explore available payment options.
